A clear path from query to entity

Resolve when the match is reliable.

IaBula maps medication text to a canonical record when the available evidence is strong enough. Ambiguous medication names may return unresolved instead of an uncertain match.

resolved

A sufficiently reliable canonical match is available.

unresolved

Evidence is not strong enough to select a variant safely.

Resolve does not promise a match for every name.

Source-aware by design

Data you can trace back to its evidence.

IaBula structures Brazilian pharmaceutical data from ANVISA, CMED and DCB sources. Coverage and provenance vary by field and record, and source evidence is exposed where available.

Questions, answered

Before you integrate.

Clear answers for your first request and beyond.

What is IaBula?

IaBula is a developer API for searching and integrating structured Brazilian pharmaceutical data, with canonical records and source evidence where available.

Where does the data come from?

Supported data includes ANVISA, CMED and DCB sources. Coverage and attribution are specific to each field and record.

Can Resolve return unresolved?

Yes. If there is not enough evidence for a reliable canonical match, Resolve may return unresolved. This is an intentional result.

How do I authenticate?

Use the authentication instructions and request examples in the API documentation. Keep API keys private and never expose them in public code.

Can I try the API for free?

A free plan is available through RapidAPI, alongside paid options. See the current plans for details.

Is IaBula medical advice?

No. IaBula provides informational data infrastructure. It does not diagnose, recommend treatments or make patient-specific clinical decisions.
